“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (ESV)
We often want God to explain the why behind our circumstances. Why this delay? Why this closed door? Why this unexpected turn? But faith grows strongest when we learn to trust God even without all the answers.
God sees the full picture—past, present, and future—while we only see a small part. When we try to rely only on what we understand, we can become discouraged or afraid. But when we place our trust in Him, we discover peace that doesn’t depend on perfect clarity.
Today, release the need to have everything figured out. Let God carry what feels too heavy to hold on your own.
Prayer
Father, I surrender my questions to You. Help me trust You even when I don’t understand. Teach me to lean on Your wisdom and not my own. Amen.

-
What is one thing you’ve been trying to control instead of trusting God with?
-
How can you place that situation in His hands today?
